How to Transfer Large Files During Remote Support

During remote support sessions, you often need to install patch files or retrieve log and configuration files. Exchanging files over email or messenger opens security gaps and makes the process cumbersome. Transferring files directly within the remote support session is the safest and fastest approach.
Two-Way Transfer, No Size Limits
Both directions are supported: agent → customer (distributing patches and settings) and customer → agent (collecting logs and evidence). Some solutions cap transfer size, but AnySupport transfers even large files without interruption and with no limits.
- Drag and drop — just drag a file and drop it to transfer
- Copy and paste — share the clipboard with Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V
- Large file support — send installation packages and log bundles all at once
The safest way to exchange files is inside the session, not outside it via email or messenger.
Security and Records Together
In-session transfers run over an encrypted channel, and a record of which files were exchanged can be kept in the support history, enabling after-the-fact tracking. The more sensitive the files, as in financial and public-sector environments, the more important the combination of "in-session transfer + records" becomes.
